1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of services, including window cleaning, bin cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, and domestic appliance repairs (“Services”) by British Property Maintenance (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to customers (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). By booking or using our Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

2. Service Agreement

2.1 Scope of Services: We will provide the Services as agreed at the time of booking. All Services are performed using industry-standard techniques and equipment.

2.2 Service Schedule: We will make every effort to adhere to the agreed schedule. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, traffic, or equipment malfunctions.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 Access and Safety: You must provide safe, unobstructed access to areas requiring Services. You are responsible for ensuring the safety of our personnel during Service provision.

3.2 Bin Preparation: For bin cleaning, bins must be empty and accessible on the scheduled service day. Additional fees may apply if bins are not ready.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Service Fees: Fees are outlined at the time of booking and may change. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.

4.2 Payment Terms: Payment is due in advance, according to your chosen service frequency (e.g., one-time, four-weekly, monthly). Payment methods accepted will be provided at the time of booking.

4.3 Late Payments: If payment is overdue, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services until payment is received. Late payments may incur additional charges.

5. Limitations of Liability

5.1 Service Limitations: While we apply reasonable care and skill, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains, odours, or debris.

Our water-fed window cleaning process allows windows to dry naturally with no streaks; manual drying is not necessary nor performed.

5.2 Indirect Damages: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or property, arising from Services.

6. Termination and Cancellation

6.1 Termination by Customer: You may cancel Services by providing written notice. For our membership, the minimum term is 12 months. Early termination will incur charges for the remaining term, and no refund will be provided.

6.2 Termination by Company: We may terminate Services immediately if you breach this Agreement or engage in behaviour that endangers personnel or our reputation. Cancellation will incur charges for the remaining service term, and no refund will be provided.

6.3 Cooling-Off Period: For distance or online bookings, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking, in accordance with UK consumer law, provided no Services have yet been performed.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 Entire Agreement: This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund/Cancellation Policy, constitutes the complete agreement between you and the Company.

8.2 Amendments: Changes to this Agreement must be in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

8.3 Severability: If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
